Picazo's Garage & Road Service (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates this website and our customer text messaging program. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and what we do and do not do with it. We have tried to write it in plain English.

Information we collect

We collect only what we need to do the work and get back to you:

• Contact information — your name, mobile phone number, and email address if you give it to us.
• Vehicle information — the year, make and model of your vehicle, and a record of the service work we have done on it.
• Messages you send us — what you write in our quote request form.
• Basic website analytics — which pages are visited and where visitors came from. We do not use tracking cookies, and we do not store your IP address. Visits are counted using a one-way hash that is regenerated every day, which means we can count how many people visited without being able to identify anyone or follow them from one day to the next.

How we use it

• To answer your quote request and schedule your service.
• To tell you about your vehicle — that it is ready, or that a service is coming due.
• To send offers and shop news, but only if you signed up for text messages.
• To understand which parts of our website are useful.

Text messaging

We send text messages only to people who have asked for them, either by ticking the consent box on this website or by scanning the sign-up code at the shop. You can stop them at any time by replying STOP. Full details are in our SMS Terms & Conditions.

All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information won’t be shared with any third parties.

Put plainly: your mobile number and the fact that you agreed to receive our texts are never sold, rented, shared, or passed to anyone else for their marketing. Not to affiliates, not to partners, not to advertisers. Ever.

Who we share information with

We do not sell your information. We share it only with the service providers that make the shop run, and only so they can do that job:

• Our text messaging provider, to deliver messages you asked for.
• Our email provider, to send you confirmations and quotes.
• Our website host and database provider, to keep this site running.
• Law enforcement, only where we are legally required to.

How long we keep it

We keep customer and vehicle records for as long as you are a customer, because your service history is genuinely useful when you come back. Records of text messaging consent are kept for as long as the law requires us to be able to show that you agreed. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

Your choices

• Reply STOP to any text to stop all messages.
• Call or email us to see, correct, or delete what we hold about you.
• Ask us to stop marketing while keeping service reminders, or the other way around.

Children

This website and our messaging program are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of the page. Material changes to how we handle text messaging will be announced by text before they take effect.
